Simon Bowe LDS RCS MSc
Simon qualified at University College London in 1990. In 1995 he began his postgraduate training at the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute and Hospital, first with an extended Restorative Course and then completing the Masters Degree in Conservative Dentistry in 1999.
After working in Private and Referral practice he moved to Scotland and opened the Speyside Dental Clinic in Spring 2009. He is passionate about preventive dentistry and the preservation of natural tooth substance.
Simon continues his post graduate education by attending courses both in the UK and abroad. In particular, he has developed a special interest in implant dentistry and is undertaking a Diploma. GDC number: 65272
John McDavitt BDS MGDS RCPS MSc
Like Simon, he has studied at the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute and Hospital in London. John received his Masters Degree in Prosthodontic Dentistry in 1997.
He has been practising in Moray for many years providing high quality dentistry at RAF Lossiemouth and Kinloss. He is dedicated to continued education and the pursuit of excellence in his work and attends further training both nationally and internationally. GDC number: 61573
Vanessa Naylor
Vanessa is a highly qualified and inspirational dental hygienist who has also been based in the Moray area for many years. Qualifying in 2001, Vanessa has vast experience in dental health education, radiography and tooth whitening. GDC number: 5804
Sharon McNicol
Sharon is a registered hygienist who qualified in 1985. Sharon's gentle personality means she is very encouraging with more nervous patients as well as being successful in inspiring great results in oral health improvement. Sharon can also advise on and carry out tooth whitening. GDC number 3021
Lynne Hill
Lynne is our Practice Manager. She is responsible for the day to day running of the Clinic. She has many years of experience in the provision of dental services and has the experience to cope with anything! She is also the Clinic's Complaints Manager so in the unlikely event there is something you are not happy with at the Speyside Dental Clinic, Lynne will consider your complaint and ensure we do what we can to resolve it.
Hazel Stuart
Hazel is the Senior Dental Nurse. She qualified in 2000 and has been working with Simon since 2004. Hazel has responsibility for the maintenance and monitoring of all cross infection protocols. She carries out regular training sessions in this vital part of the Clinic's running. Hazel also assists Simon in the surgical placement of dental implants.
Audrey Ross
Audrey simply does everything! Audrey has many years of nursing and dental nursing experience. You will meet and speak to Audrey as our main receptionist and assisting Simon on the Friday morning children's clinic. She manages the appointment book and will hopefully get you the most convenient appointment you need.
Laura Bowie
Laura Bowie has joined the clinic as receptionist and sterilisation nurse. Laura has had experience in both the distillery industry and caring professions. Her calm and caring manner will help everyone relax and enjoy their visit to the Speyside Dental Clinic.
